Online Store Built in WordPress for Fashion Seller in Marina-del-Rey
Client: 4 Leaf Clover is an online store based in Marina-del-Rey, California
Design: shopping site for an online accessory seller. Rena the owner wanted a classy, clean, easy to navigate site that showcased her line of hand bags, lingerie, jewelry and essential oils.
Details: Site was built in WordPress with WooCommerce shopping installed. The client is extremely happy with how the website looks and functions in all devices. However, when building website looks aren’t everything so I added SEO and Conversion tactics to the site, this involves my vast amount of research, coding, and expertise that I have garnered over the past 15 years.
SECURE: HTTPS: Site is secure, you can tell that from the https at the beginning of the URL – all online stores need this SSL certificate to protect shoppers credit card info. Also, Google is pushing for ALL WEBSITES to have https and is demoting sites without it in its Google search results.
POPUP: I added a Sign-Up popup to the site, so that visitors can sign up for her newsletter. I disabled this popup on mobile devices because as of January, 2017, Google is penalizing websites that show these distracting popups in phones, that are hard to click out of.
Getting visitors to join your tribe/fan base by signing up for emails and following you on social media is extremely important for SEO and to spread the word! Word of mouth marketing is very powerful!
HOST: Site is hosted with SiteGround I use them because their customer service is top rate and they have great rates and fast servers. Google penalizes site that are slow!
